Kalkan Public Beach:

You are very fortunate to be entering such a beautiful plaja in Kalkan 'ın city center. The public beach is free, clean and an important beach in the city center, where there is a river that boils under the sea and carries cold waters from the mountains. You can rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach.

It is one of the places that sea turtles leave their eggs. Because of this, the beach is under protection. At its easternmost point there is a rocky outcrop looking over a spectacular rocky cove. The single road approach to the beach features ancient sites of archeological interest.
